Bas Lodgement / Bas Activity Statement
When it comes to balancing the books and keeping clients compliant with BAS, IAS monthly and quarterly lodgements that is what we do best. We offer either a regular service, lodging all your returns as they become due, or a one-off “as required” service – depending on your needs.
Using our services gives you an extended time to lodge and pay your BAS – how nice to know the money can stay in your bank for an extra month before handing it over to the ATO. Money in your account earning interest is better than money in the ATO account earning them interest!
As we are a BAS Agent, the ability for you to make use of the so-called “Safe Harbour” provisions. Broadly, this means that ATO penalties will no longer apply to you.
Resort Accounts & Consulting will lodge your BAS electronically, including review of your file for GST amendments.
Includes:
- Quarterly BAS lodged electronically
- Quarterly review & update of accounts for minor GST amendments, in preparation for the BAS
- If you have payroll, we include wages payable, check of gross wage & PAYG withholding figures to payroll and incorrect amounts in the BAS.
- As BAS agents working on your behalf, we get a 4 week extension. Therefore the June quarter BAs, for example, would be due and payable 25th of August (excludeds quarter two).

It is the perfect solution for any small business. It is simple to use, ticks all the boxes to run a business without wasting time on manual processes. Moving from a desktop program or “pen and paper” to using this software makes running a small business so much more efficient. From daily bank feeds to automatic debtor reminders it takes care of the back of house labour consuming elements. It doesn’t get much more business friendly than that!
Single Touch Payroll is now mandatory for businesses with over 20 employees and will be mandatory for all other businesses with payroll from the 1st of July 2019. As BAS Agents, we are qualified to handle all of your payroll, STP, Superannuation compliance, which would be charged at standard hourly rate of $97.50 plus GST
