Single Touch Payroll (STP) Finalisation

All employees are required to make a finalisation declaration to the ATO by 14th July each year. Before making the finalisation declaration, please ensure the STP information is correct.

We suggest completing the following prior to finalising your STP data with the ATO:

  • Reconcile wages payable as at 30 June 2021
  • Reconcile super payable as at 30 June 2021
  • Reconcile PAYG withholding payable as at 30 June 2021
  • Reconcile the Payroll Ledger to the General Ledger
  • Reconcile BAS to payroll figures and revise BAS where appropriate
  • Check the Status column in the Finalisation screen to confirm finalised employees

The above tasks are be chargeable at the standard hourly rate of $77.50 plus GST per hour.
